This type of wiper is considered exclusively summer and is not recommended for use in winter.
Frameless
The role of the frame in the frameless wiper blade is performed by an elastic metal band rigidly connected to a rubber brush. This ribbon has the shape of an arc and straightens when the leash is pressed, which ensures uniform pressing of the brush against the glass along its entire length.
Advantages:
1. High-quality pressing against the glass.
2. Better aerodynamics - less air resistance and noise level.
3. The absence of ice.
There are some difficulties in using a frameless structure, especially when the car's glass is not flat enough. Frameless wipers also do not work well with a long brush length, so they are rarely used on trucks and buses.
Hybrid
Hybrid windscreen wipers combine the advantages of frame and frameless models. In fact, hybrid brushes are an improved version of frame wipers. Their rocker arm and hinge system is hidden inside plastic casings that protect the joints from dirt and moisture, as well as improve aerodynamics. They are versatile and suitable for any car model, providing maximum downforce and effective removal of dirt.

2. Good aerodynamics - less noise and provide better glass cleaning at high speeds.
3. Excellent downforce. Unlike frameless brushes, where the force from the leash is transmitted to the tape only at the central point, in hybrid wipers this force is transmitted to several points along the entire length of the product, similar to how it happens in frame wipers.
4. Extended service life, as the hinges are protected from dirt.
5. The possibility of normal operation in the off-season - the casing provides additional protection of the metal frame from freezing and freezing.
6. Appearance - Hybrid wipers have a more attractive appearance compared to traditional frame models.
Rear
The rear brush mechanism plays an important role for both safety and driver comfort. Despite the fact that its design and principle of operation are in many ways similar to front wipers, there are some differences due to the specifics of the rear window and the requirements for the review:
1. The size and shape of the brushes are smaller than the front ones and have a simpler design, since they are designed to clean a smaller area of glass.
2. The design of the rear brushes usually uses more compact and less powerful motors and drives, since they require less load on the system.
3. The angle and speed of movement are lower, as the requirements for viewing through the rear window are less strict.
Winter
The design of the winter wipers is protected by a special shell that reduces the amount of moisture in the hinge joints. The rubber part of these wipers is usually slightly softer compared to all-season models, which ensures their higher resistance to freezing.
Why should you use winter wipers?
1. The rubber cleaning element has a larger temperature range, so it remains elastic in the cold.
2. On winter wipers, ice does not freeze in the grooves of the rubber band, due to less pressure on the glass and less transverse elasticity of the rubber band.
3. The rocker arm hinges do not freeze, as in frame and hybrid wipers.
It is necessary to replace summer wipers with winter ones in a timely manner to ensure better visibility and safety on the road in the cold season.
